Following the last statement sent to schools by the Portuguese Surfing Federation (FPS), which mentioned that no problem identified was formally presented by AESDP, despite the fact that they were repeatedly communicated in conversations and meetings, we inform you that the Board of Directors of AESDP today sent the FPS President a letter outlining some of these main issues.
Furthermore, this letter reinforces that the purpose of AESDP was never to attack directly the FPS or its team, but rather to fight for the protection of the interests and rights of surf operators and coaches, which is and will continue to be ours mission. Whenever we feel that these interests and rights are being called into question, whatever the entity, we will act properly and fight for a fair context that considers the operators in the field as a fundamental part of the process of change.
