The association, whose creation was announced last December, will hold events in Matosinhos, Lisbon and Algarve, to present its objectives and promote moments of debate between surf schools in the country.
The Portuguese Surf School Association (AESDP) warns of the need to promote moments of discussion and debate among professionals in this area and thus holds three sessions from north to south of mainland Portugal, where it will further clarify the role of association in this industry.
The sessions will take place during the month of February and will be open to the general public, being limited to the maximum capacity of the spaces where they will take place.
In order to guarantee their participation, all interested parties must send an email to AESDP (info@associacaoescolasdesurf.pt) to confirm their presence.
These sessions will take place on the following dates:
February 17th
3:00 pm | Auditorium of the Multipurpose Pavilion of Odivelas | Alameda do Porto Pinheiro, 2675-668 Odivelas
February 18th
16:00h | Sagres Parish Council | Rua Joaquim Maurício, 8650-383 Sagres
February 24th
3:00 pm | Matosinhos Tourism Interactive Store | Av. General Norton de Matos, 4450-208 Matosinhos
These sessions will have the following agenda:
1. Presentation of AESDP
2. Current state of the industry
– Regulation and Inspection
- Training
3. Challenges for the future
4. AESDP Strategy
5. Debate and discussion
The association also appeals to all operators so that they do not miss the opportunity to attend these sessions, so that there is a closer relationship between all agents and more concrete conclusions can be drawn regarding the current and future needs of this area of activity.
